Completely re-programmed the ECU and TCM
The DSG as such is only limited by the programming, such as if the input shaft sees more than a certain amount of torque (350 Nm, or ~ 258 lb-ft) it tells the ECU to dial down on the engine power.
HPA has created turbo kits for VW's official factory cars to put a lot of stress on the DSG and testing was very positive (not one DSG broke with the 400-HP kit!)

The SMIC in the photos looks much larger than the 225 units, and thicker than normal FMICs I have
seen. It looks to have pretty good thermal transfer properties, and won't transfer the heat to the radiator.

really... hmm... well you'll have to let me know how that works...
I wonder exactly what they mean by "LONG life scenario" and what happens to that long life. I mean... does go from 500,000 miles to 250,000 miles or does it end up at 50,000 miles?
