Day 2 : X-country in the TT: Columbus Ohio to St louis
Left Columbus and it was 70 degrees out! so nice.
It was a bit cloudy, but once we drove for a little bit we got out form the clouds and it felt great
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/59088/day2_1.jpg">
Only problem was wind gusts up to 50 MPH, making for more cautious driving and swerving tractor trailers.
Continued southwest till we hit indianapolis.
Then, cruised around the city with the top down.
Had some lunch outside and continued along toward st louis
at one point cruising in left coming up to a towed trailer following an 18 wheeler, they guy decides to pull out just as im about to pass him. no signal, nothing.
I pull up and let him pass the 18 wheeler, then wait and wait and wait but her just stays in the left lane.
having enough i pull to the right. things are clear, i know that he can see me i fhe checks his mirror so i start to accelarate.
of course just as i thought he changes lanes as im next to his trailer. i hit the horn so he knows im there and the f0cker keeps going. hit the stoptechs, the GF freaks as she looks up to see a trailer coming at us, get behind him, pull around, and its some guy 60ish, driving a white cadillac who is driving blindly with a trailer, changing lanes with luck.
he wont look over, even when i honk at him. maybe hes deaf too. always have to be careful on the road. i keep him behind pinned behind an 18 wheeler for a while, then just go on my way.
after that fun, wecontinue along with the flat geography
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/59088/day2_2.jpg">
Finally we get a beautiful sunset while approaching St louis
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/59088/day2_4.jpg">
Had a nice meal at KitchenK.
Loft type restaurant/bar with a large menu and some good food.
Has a creole infuence and very good drinks.
Staring at the Arch from our hotel window and have to get moving
next stop
Oklahoma City
