Hmm, in interest of full info, New Forge Valves come upgraded (some older ones had problems)

Default my point though is it "really" necessary to strip out a perfectly good part?

with so many new buyers lurking here to compel them to rush out and buy DV's is in many ways deceptive. Some buyers are haunted by that fact and would not buy a TT because they read about bad dv's. True story.

Myself, I have 14k miles and a chip and if mine lasts this long, why rip out a brand new one?

Default OK, I accept that - and good point - others would argue that it is not perfectly good - I changed

mine after 1k miles, idle was smoother and response was better, car felt stronger (IMHO)
