Default looks like they've really made and effort to make it a true "cold" air intake

pretty cool.

Default Yeah I like this design as well, I think the heat sheild ends up hitting the hood so it closes off

a small area under the hood to keep it cooler.

Thats correct. Theres also the stage II upgrade which runs ducting down into the front bumper area.

SII is only available for the 180 as the second SMIC gets in the way.

Default Not so sure about it...

Wouldn't the reducer connected to the filter and bendable pipe inhibit airflow? If I had a TT again I think I would stick with the TTDA. Just my opinion.

FYI, Stage 2 would also work for 225s with FMICs. (something like 50% of this forum)

Thanks for the input. Ive never had the opportunity to install one on a 225. Ive done three 180's and plenty of VW's.

Have you done the install yourself? Id hate to be wrong and have someone end up with a part they dont need.
