Default Do any of the Pre-Recall suspension parts have value?
The guy next to me is doing the recall on a TT, new control arms, shocks, swaybar.....I thought I read somewhere that some people actually prefer the original parts. Any insight?

Yes the MK1 CONYROL ARM.

I would go aftermarket struts and shocks, its never wise just to change 2 out of 4 when the car you are working on has miles...
Regarding the Swaybar, there is a standard swaybar available from the dealer that is the latest and greatest.
