Well, !!!!

I've heard from the area shops that the stock HP #'s could range from 190-240, depending on compression #'s and a lot of other things. Just curious!!

If there was a 50 hp variance in output, you'd know about it here. Some cars are naturally at the high side (dyno runs on Sang's car for instance), but I doubt those variances from high to low exceed 5%. Audi's got better (engine) quality control than that. Michael can probably back that up with Dyno data.....

All TT engines are delivered with a minimum rating as advertised...

so 180 is 180 hp or higher and same scenario for the 225...based on dyno testing TTs all came in at rated hp or higher UNLESS there was a problem with some component of the engine such as a defective DV or failed MAS. I talking to Audi about engine ratings they simply said 'it is our requirement to meet advertised ratings..anything higher we do not care about..'
