Does anyone know if the AWE shipped the Bailey valves yet?
#2
I've been trying to find out the same thing. We've been calling AWE for 2 days and get voicemail ...
Meanwhile Michael's TT is totally out of commission waiting on the Bailey ... Anyone have an alternate phone number for Todd at AWE?

Ugh. No we haven't shipped yet...
Note to self: never use Postal Service for international shipping of expensive items.
Over $2000 in value, and the package gets swept into the black hole of the US Customs Service. Bailey assured us that the Postal Service would be the fastest and cheapest method of shipping, without any of us being aware of the Customs Service cut-off of $2000. We usually use Fedex or UPS who have in-house brokers. More expensive, but no "surprises".
We had our broker file the appropriate paperwork last Wednesday when we received official notice of the package being held at Customs. Subsequent calls to JFK and our broker resulted in little concrete info until yesterday.
JFK tells us the shipment was forwarded to us, and should arrive today.
We apologize about the voicemail, but we've found that it works better than a busy signal. When you get voicemail when you call us, that means all circuits *are* busy on our end. Please feel free to leave a message, we will do our best to respond in a timely manner.
Thanks to all for their patience in this matter. We are as anxious as anyone else to receive our shipment and begin sending valves to all who placed their order. We've spent hours on the phone trying to avoid any delays, but they still seem to have occurred!
Soon, very, very soon!
