Got a call from the dealer today informing me that my 225TTqc arrived in port on Tuesday and was held in an Audi shop there waiting for the cell phone installation, which was completed today. Next step: get loaded on a car transport and wait for its arrival. Could be Monday, or could be two more weeks! Sheesh, so much uncertainty.

That is SOP . . .
All of the North American bound TT's are wired for the cell Antenae, but will need to have the Cell phone "box" or brains put in either in port or at the dealer along with the phone itself.
in the coupe it goes behind a panel on the drivers side and is plugged into a 25 pin plug, then the phone is plugged into an RJ45 on the passenger side under the cup holders. The phone mount is on the passenger side of the center console.
A Question for you . . .Why are you wasting your hard earned $$$ on an analog phone? Just wondering

Thanks for the reply. I've been using mobile mounted cell phones ...
since 1983. I find them to be more powerful, safer to use, more convenient and theft resistant. To my knowledge, there are no digital phones made for a permanent mobile mount. Digital service, in my experience, is not yet as reliable as analog. I spend about $225/mo. for two mobile and two portable analog phones and would consider switching to digital when I can get comparable service and products.
