Does Audi sell TT splashguards?
Anyone wishing to argue they would destroy the lines of the car may quit reading now. ;-)
When my wife and I purchased our 98.5 A4 1.8TQ, we chose to add some really nice molded Audi splashguards at the time of delivery. Given the chunks of salt/sand encrusted snow that have ended up hanging from those splashguards each winter, I can only guess at the amount of abuse they've spared the A4's door and rear quarter panels from the cruft the tires kick up on slushy, sloppy roads.
Anyone know if Audi makes anything similar for the TT? I am rather disconcerted by thoughts of leaving the TT's fenders unprotected but don't know if I want to encase the vehicle in 3M film...

I am not aware of any, although the aerodynamic pieces . . .
behind each wheel sort of acts as a mud guard! Have you taken a look?
I went through a winter in the Northeast and didn't notice the accumulation as being all that bad.
Stone chips on the FRONTS of the wheel arches is MUCH worse than the backs or anywhere else for that matter from anything being kicked up by the wheels.
Encase the car in plastic, at least the parts facing forward.<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=3285"><img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/ttsig.jpg" BORDER=0 alt="Click for Mods"></a>

I need/want to go back and take a better picture. I also want a pic with . . .
the Montauk Lighthouse with my TTQ. I just like the way the car looks in front of the lighthouse. Blending old and new
