Default Does a quattro / automatic TT exist?

I'm looking to get a used TT soon, and quattro and an automatic transmission are required. Was it ever available in that combination? (coupe)

I'm only looking at used TT's (can't afford $30k+ !) so the new uber-TT is out of reach. Did a quattro automatic exist prior to 2004?

Default In this country at least, the 250 TT is your only auto with Q. option...

they are out there as used cars now, though not at the price you are talking about, I don't think. I'm not sure if Audi offers an auto 4-cyl TT w/Q in Europe at all, either.

Default Ahh, that stinks!

That's what my research was indicating, but I figured I'd ask the experts here before giving up!

Looks like I may shift my focus to an '02-'03 S4, although I love the unique styling of the TT!

Default Just get it in Manual

Even if you can't drive a manual... just learn.

I just bought my 03 TTR 225 back in late January. Was my first manual I ever owned. I was nervous at first... but after about three weeks of driving it... i am getting much better and am quite confident.

I'd be kicking myself if I got the auto.

Oh and I live in NYC... so I had to learn the manual in some of the toughest driving conditions around.

Oh it's got nothing to do with skills, I drove an Acura Integra GS-R 5-speed (and then a Honda del Sol VTEC 5-speed) for years. It's just that I'll tend not to drive something that's less convenient as often. I want a car that I can drive more often without complaining
