Does Revo have a "safe mode"?
Mornin'.
I've got a 180Q coupe. Before being chipped, I was pushing 11-12 psi boost. In October, I got the Revo 3 bar program. With Revo, the car was pushing 18-20 psi.
On Friday, I noticed my battery cable was getting loose (the new battery I put in sits too low), so On Staurday I disconnected the cable in order to cut a slot in the containment box so that the cable could sit better. After reconnecting the battery and running out a short test drive (I had done some other work as well), I noticed I only had about 15 psi boost. However, by the time I finished my commute this morning, I was back to my normal levels.
So I'm just curious if Revo has a "safe mode" or adaptive nature such that when the loss of battery power occurred, the Revo software ran the engine in a more conservative mode until it could confirm things like airflow, fuel octane, and oxygen content in the exhaust, etc.
Any thoughts?
