Default Does tint fade over time?

The reason I am asking is because I took my car to the body shop for them to fix some of their screw ups, like scratching the hell out of my tint (on window behind driverside) and my window switch. They gave it back today with just the tint done and are ordering the switch. However while I was driving I looked back to see the tint (yes I should have looked before I left, but I have to go back anyways), but the tint is Bronze or dirty water brown color. The difference is very noticeable. I was just wondering if the tint will ever fade to the same color as the rest or do I need to tell them to try again?

P.S. This will be the 5th time I take it back for them doing a **** poor job. Management will be called this time.

Default Go somewhere else and get it done right....

I used to tint windows...if they can't get it right within 5 tries, it's time to go elsewhere. And yes, tint will fade over time. It really depends on the brand - good brands won't fade much and it takes a long time to notice. Crappy brands will fade quicker. And don't use ammonia cleaners on it either unless you want purple windows...but you may have already known that.

Default well they do make bronze colored tint and blue colored tint..........like eye wear

it's still dark, but the actual shade changes. tint can fade if it's crappy.

Default I use stuff that is specified for tinted windows.

This isnt the 5th time for tint. I got my door backed into before Thanksgiving and I have taken it back to the same dealer for seperate things that they can't get right the first time. They are very willing to do more work because all they do is bill the guys insurance company.

The rest of my windows are light to darkish black, not bronze.
