Does VAGCOM always cause the Radio to die out?

Default Does VAGCOM always cause the Radio to die out?

I remember once when I connected the VAGCOM to another TT< it killed the radio...then we had to pull the fuse to get it back up...does this happen all the time?

Default My radio stopped working also after plugging in the Vag-Com , so i went back into the radio section

and did a test on it then i got out of the section.....
disconnected...
it was fine

What kind of test does it do?? An actual frequency test?
