Don't know if anyone posted yet about the 3.2 recall...
I haven't checked the forum all day.
Recall letter came in the mail today, looks like the problem Mr. EighTT and others suffered at port last fall. The clutch is to be replaced by Audi "if necessary."
"The clutch in affected vehicles was not welded to specifications. This could lead to degraded performance of the clutch inside the transmission after an indefinite period of use (I'm at 11K!!), causing the clutch to lose its ability to provide input torque to the transmission without prior warning. If this happens, the vehicle could roll, putting you at rish for a crash."
I was told at the dealership that it was being handled case by case back in December, but it looks like that's changed.
