Don't know what the heck it was, but I'm driving along and all of a sudden I lose throttle response.
It was weird. The EPC light came on, and when I pressed the gas, the tach jumped from idle RMPs to maybe 1000 or 1500, and no forward momentum at all. Clutch in, clutch out, all gears, same thing. Pulled to the shoulder, took key out, back in, and the car was back to normal.
Could this have been just a glitch with the drive-by-wire, or something more serious? The car's going in for it's 40K service in the next week, so I'll tell the dealership to check into it, but until then, any thoughts?
