Default The down side of a custom exhaust...

I'm STILL at the shop as he is welding it right now! It looks very sweet with 4" tips and a canister in the back that is a great weight savings over the OEM (guessing 75+lbs old vs. 30+ new). But jeesh it is hot in here! ;-) photos and full report on Monday.

Default I think welding guys area bit like mad scientists. You only can *guide* them ...

uhmm.. stock is 55 +/- 5lbs ... what size piping?

Default Correction on OEM cannister... about 35lb. My entire system is now the weight of just the ...

old canister :-) Piping is 3" staonless. non-res. system.

Default he'll do that, he's experimenting with different muffler designs...

out of the 3 TTs he's doing, I'm the only one that uses my TT as a daily commuter, I need my exhaust the be relatively "quieter" than Bob's or Joe (has a pretty loud system). After that, Certified muffler would be able to make recommendaions.
