Default Downpipe for the 225 - where and what to buy?

What are you running, and how much was it, and where did you get it?

TIA!

Default I was told that is where my biggest restriction is right now

I have an exhaust system, but no down pipe, and if I got one, it would open it up so it could breathe (exhale) a lot better.

Right now I have the brullen exhaust, and I was under the impression that if I get a downpipe I would be rockin'

Is that wrong?

Default Nope....

Put a high flow cat in. That's probably the biggest restriction now. Lots cheaper too if you do a custom.

Default I would go custom...>>

A good muffler shop can whip one up easily. I bought a used stock Cat for $40 and may use it as a jig to have one fabbed up...

Default contact mike at motionvw. He'll quote you a great price, I'm sure

He is starting to make these downpipes for the 225, used mine as the prototype. I abolutely love it and the difference is very noticable; although I did have it and the exhaust made at the same time so I can't say for sure how much the downpipe alone did.

MotionVW
