The long-awaited letter from Pon's arrived today and mentions the ESP retrofit
for the first time. They claim the car will be gone for THREE weeks and that the
retrofit will be in Hungary, not in Ingolstadt. Nice part is that ALL mods can be
done at the same time, so the suspension mods, spoiler and ESP will all be
done at the factory and not partially at the dealer.

They are asking NLG 1,150 for the ESP which is reasonable since the car increased in price that much when it becase a standard feature. BUT, they are charging to rent an A4 for 3 weeks while the retrofit is done, AND charging for pickup at your house if you do not want to drive to Leusden. Darn !

Any Dutchies want to sign a petition to Pon's to give us the temp A4 for free ? I thought it was going to be free in Germany, why should we have to pay ?

My TT is scheduled for May 1st, full upgrade, I thought they bring it to Germany, but not sure. I don't have to pay anything if I don't ask for a replacement car, should last 2-3 weeks.
