before i bought my 180coupe, i test drove several at scottsdale audi (of arizona). one in particular was a 180 that had been chipped and the difference was noticeable to say the least. my dealer told me that "if they chip it themselves the warranty wont be voided, but ........"
that was like 2 months before i bought and i was not paying close attention to what she said after the "but....." part. but, i think it was a kind of threat. is this kosher ? can they threaten not to honor the warranty of a car if they didnt chip it and honor only the warranty of cars that they themselves chiped? whats up with that?<p>Jack in PHX
