Default DV questions...HELP!

how do i get the OEM clamps off the stock DV. strat doesnt really give good detail. thanks!

anything else and you might rip off the tip on the top of the stock DV, so be careful

Default I would say that isn't such a huge issue. The bigger problem is

making sure you don't mess up the hoses.

Use a screwdrier to open the clamp up and see if you can undo it. A nice big flat blade will get in there and undo the original claming and let you open it up. Needle nose pliers help too.

Default needlenose pliers and a small flathead work well..dont

puncture any of the hoses..dont work about breaking the stock dv its very tough...be careful you dont drop any clamps or parts down the tube..if you do stick a magnet on a stick with duct tape and fish them out... use alittle oil around two large flanges on new dv makes insertion easier..

Default i tired putting the screwdriver in and trying to use the needle nose....

no luck...its really strong and my screwdriver head is distorted

Default i've removed both my DV and my N75, and i still don't know the *right* way to do it...

i took a big set of channel locks and a screw driver... and then muscled the hell out of those bloody single-use clamps.

i haven't damaged hoses or valves yet...
