Default Easily to steal TT?!

Hi.guys
Just went to the ICBC(insurance company) today.
One thing that really surprised me..
The adjuster told me that TT and other Audis are easy to steal...is it TRUE?
In fact,There are 2 TTs got stolen at Vancouver from last weekend..which is like 4 days from now....WOW..
Any idea about the security system of AUDI?

If someone wants it bad enough, they'll get it. So, really any car is easy to steal.

Default compared to what? the crown jewels? yes.

compared to most cars off the showroom floor? i don't think so.

AFAIK the TT has a very good alarm system, and current TT's have an immobilizer.

of course someone who knows what he's doing can steal anything, but some random kid can't just break your window and drive off w/it.

Default Criminals steal cars with large production runs that are easy to fence parts for OR

to resell, as in "Gone in 60 Seconds". That is why so many Camrys and Accords are stolen. High deman for grey market parts. The Vancouver thefts have got to be a car theft ring shipping them to Asia or the Pacific Rim. (thinks about his geography, yes Vancouver is on the left side of Canada)

I am not a car thief but I play one on the internet.

Park in a well lighted place.

Default I went to a good party with some bad people once...

The TT's are probably local. Maybe they will end up in VW's somewhere due to interchangability. The exotic export market to the Far East and South America are mostly run out of coastal ports with crooked transport companies. According to the fun scum, there is a lot of hassle; so the exotics are truly that. I mentioned some paranoia about loosing my Boxster S Tip to these operations and got laughter. Not exotic enough for the trouble, but fun for a drunken joy ride. They boast that nothing is safe and that Lojack is a joke.
