ecu and check engine light are on after overboost ...>
will not reset either with vag or ecu reset.
problem occured from overboost as a result of being to generous with boost machine.
ever since the overboost the lights will not clear.
what is strange is that the car still boosts fine with strong pull.
any suggestions?

Doug.....I've been thinking.....>
You might have fried a MAF in some unusual way. Unplug and see if it runs the same. You may have to substitute in a known good unit to clear the code..

The same ocurred to me after setting the BM with 6 turns...
Right now I have the Check Engine and ESP light on.
Throw the following codes:
17963 -
P1555 - 35-10 -
16486 -
P0102 - 35-00 -
18010 -
P1602 - 35-10 -
16497 -
P0113 - 35-10 -
