Default ECU No. 8N0 906 018 AN

Does anyone have a chip in one of these yet? I just removed the chastity belt from the ECU. My drill went dead after about 30 seconds of drilling out the first stud (piece of sh*t), so I had to revert to a more primitive style of removal. Must say, wasn't very hard at all... if anyone has one of these on their car and doesn't have a drill to drill out the studs... all you have to do is use a screwdriver to pry the two little rings that are looped around the ECU on the left and then just use the screwdriver to pry the opposing flap up and the cover will slide right off (to the left). Then you unplug the second wiring harness and the cover will come right off.

Default Don't worry, you didn't just void your warranty.. Just because

you removed your ecu doesn't mean you did anything to your car.. It doesn't mean you changed the chip.. It is your car isn't it?? Out of curiousity can't you removed things from your car??? Now if your tranny fell off your car, does that mean they can say, sorry you removed your ECU, you pay? No!. And on that box doesn it say if you remove me your warranty will be voided?? If you look in your owners manual does it say do not remove the ecu otherwise your warranty will be voided?? No and no.. So don't worry.. ****, for all I know, you could live in a bad neighborhood and as a precaution, you remove the ecu to prevent theft.. Humm.. gee..

Default I wasn't worried about the warranty...

Anyway... if only some of the 2002 TT's have the chastity belt, how do they know which ones? As far as I know, there was never one on my car. Anyway, there is a part number on the cover, so I could order a new one and put it on if there was ever a major problem.
I wasn't letting some damn black metal cover stop me from enjoying some sweet horsepower and torque. I own the car... if I wanna take **** out and look at it... I will!!!!!
