According to the September Audi Internet Newsletter, the company will manufacture several models, including the TT Coupé and Roadster, with their Electronic Stability Program (ESP) by year end. Has anyone heard in which build week this will begin for TTs?

I had not heard this before, but I hope it can be switched off manually. The technology is impressive, but does not always produce the best driver satisfaction.

Apparently, ESP is already available on A8s, though I don't know if it can be switched off or not. What I can tell you is that the newsletter is email-based. You can request a copy at the address listed below. Select "Kontact" and then "Newsletter". For text-only versions, click on the "Text - bestellen" box. according to my dealer, esp will be standard for all tt's build starting week 50 of this year. patrick

Is ESP worth the wait? Week 50 is mid-Dec, correct? My car is scheduled for Nov production (nt)

There is a switch in the new A8 and there will be one in the TT.
