Engine shuts off when I turn on headlights

Engine shuts off when I turn on headlights
So I have a strange problem. The other night I turned on my TT, it turned on fine, turn the lights on, it shuts the engine off. Turn it back on, lights on, engine off. I ended up having to drive home with no lights and have a friend follow me.
I checked the battery with the car off, 12.4-12.5V. I turn on the car (lights off) 14.4-14.6V. It appears the alternator and battery are ok. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
Any help is much appreciated.

you need to check the batttery after the car has sat overnight>>>
to get a standing voltage rate....
On the problem, check the fuse block on top of the battery and clean connections as necessary...

The battery I waited about 24 hours to check so hopefully I'm good there. You located in CT? I am too

Took out the two relays located in the box next to the MAF sensor, put them back in and she seems to be working. Guess we'll wait and see.
