Default engine support bracket
2002 mk1 tt -
hi, would raising or lowering the engine affect the haldex drivetrain or exhaust - when removing the engine support bracket for t-belt change?

You can certainly damage the exhaust, especially a flex-pipe that was near the end of it's useful life if you stress it by raising or lowering the engine too much. No one's fault as exhaust systems have a finite life.
