Engine Ticking After Oil Change. Wtf.
Ok, there is a ticking at the bottom of my engine. It increases in speed as i rev it. I don't know if it's related to the fact that i just changed the oil and filter (the night before). I used 5W30 full synthetic ONLY because the manual said i could if 5W40 wasn't available. So.... do you have an idea what's wrong with my engine before i take it to the shop? It gets louder the longer the car runs. WTF.

Can't tell you what it is, but it is NOT due to using 5W30, so don't beat yourself up on that!
What frequency is the noise - how fast at idle? Side of the engine? Did you drop any tools?

No, no tools were dropped in the engine or anything.
Well i guess it's getting taken to the shop right now. Maybe i damaged something because i overfilled the oil? I used 5 quarts, the manual called for 4.8..
