ESP Problem
OK, I searched the archives and found hundreds of posts regarding problems related to the ESP. However, none of the posts seemed to match exactly the problem I've encountered three times in the last two days.
After about five minutes of driving, the car suddenly shutters as if the brakes were momentarily engaged and then the ESP light comes on and remains lighted for the duration of my trip. Next time I get in the car, no light until about five minutes into the trip....repeat.
Trying to get an appt with the dealer as we speak, but thought you folks might could offer some insight.

do you have stock brakes?
probably not related but...
when i had my stoptechs installed, on the early test drive something wasnt right and caused the esp to go off when i would hit a bump. the whole car would shutter. very nerve wrecking.
they adjusted the brakes and it was gone.
sounds like the exact same result, but not sure if its the same cause
