Ethics question here concerning shipping parts to fellow TT'er....
As some of you may know, I am selling an intercooler kit to a fellow TT'er here in our forums. Well the kit arrived today and I am ready to ship. I received a confirmation from Paypal stating the the full amount was pending to me because it was paid by E-Check...as soon as the e-check clears, the funds are put into my Paypal account. This process could take 4 business days or so...
The question is *Do I ship the intercooler today or do I wait until the funds clear?" Part of me thinks that I should since he took a leap of faith to send me the money without his goods and the other part of me thinks, what if the funds didn't clear? I would be screwed then...
opinions?

I always wait for checks to clear unless I really know the person well. If he wanted it...
...sooner, he should have paid with a credit card or something. This is just SOP w/ selling things on-line IMO.

Depends how well you 'know' them. But for the amount of money involved, I'd advise waiting just to
avoid any unintended mix-ups (i.e., if something unexpected happened and the payment needed to be redone). Avoids the potential for bad feelings, even if there were no bad intent.
