Default Euro Mirror question ...

What's so special about it? I noticed some signatures with "Euro Mirrors" on them.

Ciao!

Default The Euro mirrors eliminate the blind spot

They are also known as "split mirrors".

It is like having 2 mirrors on one side.

The inner mirror is a conventional mirror and the outer mirror is convex to increase the viewable area.

Once you put these in, you no longer have to do the over-the-shoulder look before changing lanes.

Default Best investment to date in the TTR

Kalki,
Go to the audi links and look up Stratmosphere, they sell the mirrors there for like $130 inc tax & shipping. Best purchase I've made to date for blind spot coverage!

Have fun

Default go here...

Essentially the same as for the TT.
Even look like they were made by the same company.
(Same brown wires on the heaters)

Martyn from Whitehouse Auid can get them for you also, a bit cheaper, IMHO.

The Boxster Aspheric Mirror Page

Hi Jeff,

It looks like you guys in the states have been talking about this on
your US Forum??

Yes, we do use a "blind spot mirror" on the right hand side of the car @
£31.00. Our left hand one is "normal" ie no blind spot and is £22.00,
however, I can get German spec left hand side mirrors, ie your drivers
side, WITH the "blind spot" (split-type).. the price of which is £32.00.
Both of these prices exclude UK tax, which of course you would not pay.
Total approx $94.50.

Shipping charges to the US, would be
$23.00 taking 5-8 working days to reach you. So total cost $107.50. Both
of the mirrors would be the "blind spot" type and heated.

If you would like to order them, just e-mail me back and I'll get them
on order before any one else has them!

Payment can be by credit card. Probably the best way to do this, is to
e-mail me half of the card number one day, then the other half and
expiry date a day later with your delivery address. Failing that you
could wire the money straight to our bank.

Hope this is all ok, if you have any questions, please ask.

P.S what is the web address of your US forum....I regulary join in the
UK forum, I'd be interesting to see what you guys are talking about at
the moment.

Default Either are excellent, but Stratmosphere has been awesome for me...

Always delivered on time, always arrived as promised.

You can't go wrong either way, as Martyn has done the same for many Forum members; the only reason I'd go with Stratmosphere first is that I've done business with them and I couldn't be happier. We're very lucky to have several first-rate sources; Clair Parts are at the same level. Cheers!

Default Are they hard to install? Harder than the TT Valve Stems (about my limit)?

Do I remember reading here recently that a dealer will install them?

Thanks!
Jo
