The blind spots are driving me crazy. I can find them on TTstuff and Stratmosphere for about the same price. Should I look anywhere else?

TIA,
gary

Default

Install is very easy, removal of old ones sometimes results in cracking them but thats not big deal.

Default Those two sources are the best options...

as Nuge says though, it can be a PITA to remove the old ones and install the new ones... just need to be slow and careful. If you break the right one when installing the new, I happen to have one. :-/

Default Here's EighTT's method of Euro-mirror installation...

Show up at the Audi dealer's service department unannounced. Tell them that you want to install the Euro mirrors and state that you're afraid of breaking them. Ask if they can show you how to do it.

They'll probably throw it on for free. If the service advisor can't/won't/doesn't do it, ask if you can talk to a mechanic for some help.

Worked for me! :0)

Default There's a special tool for removing old mirrors....it basically spreads apart

the retainer clip. The job is fairly simple but easier done with practice. If convenient you may just want to pay your dealer to install them- should be about a $30 job. They are fantastic! I looked for my allroad but I have dimming mirrors which cost about $500/ pair- ouch!

Default already pulled the trigger, cash was burning a hole in my pocket

I went through TTstuff, closer to me (CT) if that makes a diff.

Default They're easy to install...

Just be patient and work slowly. Ya need to apply a small amount of force, but just try to keep the mirror flat and you'll be fine. Where in CT are ya? I'm near Bridgeport. If you're close I'll help ya.

Default I'll give it a shot..

I'm in Enfield, north of Hartford near the Mass line. I don't think I will be able to install them until later in May, I've got to hop across the pond for a week. Thanks for the offer.
