Can anyone provide a picture of the location for the european HID light ballasts? The people that did the swap for me several years ago left them loose under the lights and I would like to properly fasten them in the correct locations.

Just to the left of the battery and under the hose you see in this pic. Later cars had them mounted to the sides of the headlight.

To put them back in the early factory location will require a complete front end dissasembly (bumper and lights)...Probably not worth the hassle. You may be able to mount them to thee sides of the lights with no disassembly.

Several, like RoberTT's seen here took them off he bracket and tucked them somewhere else to make room for Intake hoses..
