exhaust install help...how do you get the rusty bolts off then center pipe?

Default exhaust install help...how do you get the rusty bolts off then center pipe?

I'm on a ramp and its very tough to remove those bolts. any tips? thanks!

Try tapping on the socket wrench with a hammer... It also helps to have a deep socket.

hah, yes. try the WD-40 before you take a hammer to your wrench.

Default I wasn't able to undo them until I used a 18" wrench...

and found that longer leverage gives you more control than hammering at a shorter handled tool. What a difference it made.

Default Mr Nice Guy gave me a real good tip...

went to home depot and got one of those long galvanized tubes.. and I put them over the wrench to lengthen it and the screws came out.. one of them broke even... now i need a deep socket to secure the nuts... gonna call it a day.. i think having a lift really helps.. doing it on a ramp is quite a pain...
