Farewell My Beloved TT Pals

Farewell My Beloved TT Pals
This will likely be my last post. Yesterday I sold my 2002 TT Coupe - Amulet red. Of the 15 or so cars that I have owned, it was by the most fun to own and drive.
It was also the most expensive and depreciated the fastest of any car I have owned; from $37K to $15K in three years and 75K miles is more than I expected. In it's short life I spent $2500 in tires, $900 in brakes, $700 in shocks/struts and ~ $1000 in "minor" maintenance.
Despite that, it will go on the list as my favorite car - what an awesome driving machine! There was nothing that matches putting that sweetie into a hard squeeling turn on a country road, then accelerating out the other side like a rocket.
Maybe someday I'll get another one - when I can afford to have a "play car" that I take out for weekend drives and don't care about the miles or the cost. But until then I will have to survive on the memories. Oh yea, the next one will be a roadster instead of a coupe.
Farewell until we meet again!

Just chillaxin with a 75* F day ...
Starting in a new job in a few weeks, enjoying the 1.5 yr-old Mackster, redoing the car audio when time (& the Mrs.) permits.
How's CT?

I'll never forget the first time...
I opened her up on the NY State Thruway and cracked 110 mph.
I drove it home every day at > 90 mph and only got one speeding ticket in 3 years!
And I can't tell you how many times someone I didn't know came up to me and said, "Sweet ride!"
It's an amazing infatuation!
