i don't know you're net worth lol but
i'd get the e36 m3 fun to toss, great starting chassis. someday i'm either going with that or a an sti, gut it and put a full cage in it. good luck man!

But FWIW, I have clearance from the wifey to go nuts.
The thing I don't want to do is to buy a car, mod it, outgrow it, sell it to buy another, repeat, repeat, and then before you know it, I've spent enough to have just gotten the right one up front. I've been a car maniac since I was 2 years old, so I don't think there's any danger of me losing interest in the hobby/sport. Again, that kind of calculation could probably justify an e46 vs an e36 or a $35k Elise vs a $20k E36 M3, but the $80k GT3 can't really be justified that way.
