Finally got the chip and DV (Dahlback), and well...
...I guess maybe I was expecting too much after waiting to do this for so long. While the car does run better (very nicely in fact), less turbo lag, just generally more "willing" throughout the RPM range - the performance doesn't really feel that different. With the Borla exhaust, the chip and the DV (if you can trust the Dahlback website numbers), I should be looking at 208hp and 284 lb/ft of torque (not sure I believe that amount of torque increase). If anything, I would say the car just seems less "restricted” in the way it reacts • nice, but maybe too subtle of a change for the dollars spent.

vs. stock - had the exhaust almost from day one...
but of course, not nearly the same gains as a chip. I should have had some objective data to compare with before making the upgrades but I didn't, so its all "feel". I will get a better sense of it when I head home up the foothills West of Denver - how it pulls the grades in 5th. gear will be more telling I think...

funny you should say that, but with Dahlback chip...
you need to push the car much higher in the rpm range. i felt the same way, especially when i switched from APR to Dahlback...was contemplating even switching it back out.
you need to shift gears past 3,500 rpm at the minimum to get more poop out of the engine. but you'll see, the more "you" adapt to the chipped car, you'll see that it has alot more legs at the top end. ask anyone here that switched or put in a Dahlback chip.
