Default First Service Today - report 5k service

Called Key Audi (Jax, Fl) last week to make early a.m. appt. for today. Got to dealer early, they had my name on their "Service Today" list and immediately went to work. About 70 minutes later they were done, service complete, warranty book updated. I'm on my way, and at my request they skipped the wash.

They did have a beautiful A8 on the floor ($72,000), yikes almost 2 TT's.

Default Get em to stamp it! They missed mine on the pre-delivery...>>

and I insisted they stamp it at the 5K. Can't be too careful the way Audi is interpreting Warranty policy!

Default Same story here....mine wasn't stamped @ 5K, so I had them do it at the 10K last week....

Also requested no wash, I was on my way in about 50 minutes. All stamps are now up to date, and you make a good point about the warranty issue.

Default Lucky you; not so quick in Palo Alto, CA

I have been using Carlsen in Palo Alto in the bay area. The earliest you can get scheduled for service is 5 weeks

Then you leave your car there for a number of days. You may bust them and realize that they were ready to call you in to release your car with "could not reproduce"s in it.

Anyway... I am not angry

Default . . . and then their techs back your TT into another car causing damage, and then . . .

they put 2-3 deep scratches on your roof (from a clipboard?), then they scratch your premium forged wheels with the airwrench when they rotate the tires, then they break your windshield washer cap when filling fluids, then they don't put the panels of your car back properly after they replace the seat belt pretentioner, then they order parts that are still "on order" 35 days later, then they send the car to their "really good" auto body shop to fix their tech's accident (with your once PERFECT f'ing babied car), then you pick it up and the paint looks like *** (drips, orange peel), then you bring it back to the auto body shop for more work, then they have it for 2 days when you were promised one day, then you go to pick it up and it still looks like ***, then you leave it overnight again, then you go to pick it up and it still isn't great, but you're so freaking fatigued that you can't complain anymore.

Really.

Default My booklet didn't get stamped once as well.

But I don't care that much of that anymore because we all keep all the paperwork right. Right?

Where do you take your car for service now? I wonder if Stevens Creek is better.
