Default floorboard popping

Thus far I have replaced the front struts (with bearings, mounts and caps) and the dogbone (plus polyurethane bushings) and the subframe bearings have been sprayed with WD-40. I still get a popping sensation under my feet as I come to a stop after hard acceleration. Happens whether or not I am turning.

Any clue what that could be? Wheels check out ok.

Thanks.

Default as I have learned, suspension issues are a ***** to diagnose on these cars...

typical things to check:
tie rod assemblies
ball joints
wheel bearings (I'm getting one of these replace now for a similar issue)
sway bar end links
sway bar mounts
strut mounts
strut bearings
control arm bushings

I have replaced all of the above trying to track down my problem. fortunately dealer did most of it in my last week of warranty, but they still couldn't fix it. basically they are incompetant. I had my local race shop work on it after I couldn't get it myself.

Default Well, so far the work has largely been "upgrades."

Bilstein HD struts. Dogbone was put in for free. I paid $55 for a new OEM dogbone, and $20 for polyurethane bushings, just to be sure.

Next step is to try to electric ears.

I had that until the dealer replaced an engine mount.

Default The paperwork said "left engine mount." It would pop when jamming on the

gas & abruptly letting go in 1st gear. Very repeatable.
