Default Forge FMIC install, which way is up? The brackets don't fit right...

and will need to be modified regardless. If I flip it one way, the FMIC inlet/outlet tube hits the right bumper support. If I flip it the other way, it hits the tow hook. There's a notch at the front of each tank. Should the notch be oriented up or down? The instructions are totally lacking.

It's pretty obvious I'll have to trim the radiator support if I want to keep the aliens because if I don't it'll dent the hoses about 3/4 in. The dent built into the hose to clear the aliens aren't positioned properly.

Default Notch goes up...

You might have to grind on th bumper a bit. Throw the aliens away!

Default But do you know if the notch on the tanks are oriented up or down?

As for the aliens, I feel guilty tossing them if all it takes is a little cutting of the radiator support to save them. If that doesn't do the trick, I'll toss them.

I'm looking for posts of others' installs but can't find one that shows the FMIC installed with bumper off.

Default I'm not sure what you're asking here....

The notches should be on the front and go up (Top side, NOT bottom). Here's a pic, but this is before Forge started with the notches to clear the aluminum bumper....

Default Don't Grind anythng til you test fit the bumper...>

You may not have to. That's what the notches are for. Sounds like you're a few steps away from having it installed correctly.
