Default Forge-Milltek exhaust owners who want to remove "Forge" logo on the tips, the solution! >>>

I've noticed a couple people asking about the Forge logo on the Milltek exhausts and if it can be removed... it can!! Personally, while I think Forge makes fine products, I don't care for their logo being on the tips of my Milltek branded exhaust. Furthermore, the logo seems to be some sort of silkscreen or light etched application and shows wear easily. I decided if I can't have Milltek on the tips, then I'll have nothing!! Here's how its done:

Here is one tip as it comes out of the box:

First, go to your local auto parts store and get some of this stuff, Blue Magic Metal Polish:

Then, using a cotton t-shirt, rub the polish over the logo:

See as the logo starts to disappear!!

The finished product... you can still see "Forge" in the metal if you look REALLY close in good light... but you'll be the only one who knows! Its almost like the logo was never there. Happy polishing!

You've turned the Forge logo into a Forge "watermark", BTW, does that metal polish work on brass?

Default it says "safe for all metal surfaces." As a bonus...

it leaves a silicone coating to help delay tarnishing, etc. With a power buffer, this stuff will turn raw aluminum into a mirror!

You really should use Simichrome, it's much better 8-).
