Default Front right vibe solved

You wont believe this crap. Sit down. Refresher: My TT had a thumping noise in front right wheel when going around left hand turns or changing lanes.

I attempted to change the tranny oil yesterday. When I had the second quart of MT-90 in, the gear oil started to pour out the stub shaft in the diff where it bolts on to the flange at the right front inner CV joint. That axle stub had backed out of the diff by 1"!!!!!

It drained my tranny down to the bottom of that shaft seal. Thats why my 4th, 5th, and now 6th gears are singing. I actually used a catspaw to push the shaft back into the diff by 1". Oil stopped.

I had it put on flatbed and taken to another Audi dealer. We disconnected the CV joint flange at that little stub shaft and he said that there is an allen or torx bolt about 8" down that shaft that connects it to the other end. Although that sounded wierd, Im authorizing the work.

Thanks for your inputs.
