Gas tank leak

Just a heads up! I haven't seen this problem on the site. My 2002 TTQR with 13K developed a gas tank leak. According to the Audi technician, the ring that seals the fuel level sending unit was deformed. This was a hard leak to find. The tech thought it may have been over torqued at the factory. I hope no one else has this problem but I thought this post would help if you do.

happened to me and one other car that i am aware of...not too common, it seems the rubber gasket is the causal part, a vendor issue,really, shouldnt be widespread, not to worry!
