Might be...a loud honk followed by a bang and then smoke comes out of the chimney.

You just filled up with oil. Basically low octane. Tow to a dealer. Drain and flush the system. Change gas filter. Your anti-knock sensor will detune the engine until you do it.

I used to work at a gas station and actually saw someone do this. Guess it hit a hot button :-)

I had a girlfriend try to fill my car from a two-in-one combo pump at Shell once. She spent about thirty seconds trying to get the Diesel spigot into my gas tank - then I realized what she was doing and called her off.

In the U.S., Diesel pumps have a different nozzle diameter than gasoline pumps. You can't physically insert a Diesel pump into a gasoline tank.

But he was kidding anyway...
