Couldn't hook it up perfectly. Apparently there is no switched uninterrupted while cranking hookup wire. I had to end up putting in a switch.
Then apparently the replacement red light for the gauge which was neon... well the transformer or something kept screwing with the a/f gauge. Every time it would make it go dead kinda. It was horrible trying to figure out why every time the lights were switched on. Turns out it something having to do with the neons.... so I have to go replace it with LED's now. So annoying.
I didn't even hook up the oil temp gauge... no time, and I didn't feel like getting into it.

UPDATE Sorry about that. I had a bad feeling you would not find this wire...
I looked, and there is no easy place to get this.
there is a relay that clicks on/off when the ignition is turned to start.
this cut out the current going to the fuse box, etc.
Find the starter wire from the ignition switcvh and maybe you will have something then.
