Default GForce Performance chip.

I installed this week a GForce performance chip in my 2000 TT coupe. Just hit the 100 mile count after the install. I'd say there has been a definite improvement in the cars performance. Was wondering if anyone had a comment on this install and the validity of GForce's claims of increased HP and better fuel consumption?

I'd be interested in knowing how your TT is doing with the GForce chip. I'm looking @ http://www.gfchips.com/audia6.aspx?variation=6405 to possibly chip my '99 A6 quattro. You commented on an improvement in your car's performance. Have you noticed any change in your mpg or any excessive engine wear? Your feedback greatly appreciated.

I must admit, that I had forgotten about this post of mine until just now. I am glad I was reminded of this post because in hind sight It was a complete waste of the $85.00 I spent on it. Their claims of up to 70 HP increase was total BS, the fuel consumption remained unchanged, and the "GForce chip" now sits in the recycling pile in my garage waiting to be recycled. It was a total waste of money!!
I did however have the opportunity to try a true performance chip (which really isn't a chip at all, but rather a computer program) that when plugged into the car's computer port will tune the car's engine to maximum performance and does give the detuned from factory engine a 20 to 40 hp increase which is very noticeable right from the get go. Hard to keep the wheels from spinning even when the car is moving at 20 or 30 kph. Well worth the $500.00 price tag.
