Good Brake Pads? What Kind?

I need to get my brake pads replaced. Should I go with OEM or are there better ones available? Any thoughts?

Red Box

Have Mintex Red Box on TT, VW GTI, and BMW 3 series, have been happy with them. These are NOT track cars by the way...
