Default :)

The thing is, I've only driven my friend's not broken-in 225 TT roadster and I wasn't all that impressed, but then I didn't flog it. I'm coming from an S2000 (hydroplaned it into a wall). It's either the TT Coupe or another one.

Think I'll like it as much? Don't care whether it's a coupe or convertible.

Default how did you like the s2k? i've read (at s2ki.com) that quite a few people have lost control...

in your opinion is it the car or "driver error". i'd consider one if i didn't think the back end would come out every time it rained!

I also have heard that the factory have had to replace the engines on a few of the older ones.

Default reasons:

Althought the S2000 is quick, it lacks in other areas imo. I would recommend the 225quattro in that you get better styling, all wheel drive and this car still draws strong looks even today. If you want more power, get a chip for about $500.00 more which would bring you about the same power as the S2000.

Default In terms of getting attention, I think the S2000 has it all over the TT.

I actually like the aggressive looks of the S2000 better. I like the practicality of the TT and its interior better.

If a chipped TT is as fast as a stock S2000 in a straight line, then a chipped TT is fast as a stock S4 in a straight line.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Default The back end will come out in the rain or dry if you don't know how to control it.

If you're doing it on purpose, that's a given it'll oversteer and let you have some fun.

The S2000 is a race car and it's very edgy. I like.

Default I respect your opinion, but...

there are more S2000 to Audi TT converts than vice versa. I will not go into details as to why, but whatever you decide, your definetely welcome here as an owner and/or an enthusiast.
