Group Buy on Miltek exhausts.........Who would be REALLY interested? [more]
I have talked to a tuner who would be willing to do a group buy on the Miltek exhausts for the TT..
I received a price of around $800 RETAIL(depending on conversion rates that day)for the 180FWD and I expect similar savings for the other applications.....
If you are REALLY intersted in getting this exhaust at a great savings, please respond here or email me privately.
I will have the rest of the details by tommorow on the other fitments (180 Quattro and 225 Quattro)and I will keep you posted...

Don't want to burst bubbles but...

Well Pete.....No disrespect to you.......but I talked to you about this already and....
told you that you may want to double check with Miltek....that either someone is not being honest to you or there is a loophole.....

Hey, no problem. Don't mean to rain on your parade either...
but we have been in contact with Phil Millington directly and we certainly would be very surprised if this were the case. I think the official answer will surface first thing Friday from Milltek. -Pete

Statement from Phil Millington of Milltek...
Here it is...
"Stratmosphere is the only 'factory approved' importer of Forge/Milltek Audi performance exhausts in the States . This means that the goods shipped to them are manufactured to be correct for U.S. specification vehicles and that Stratmosphere/Forge technically collaborate directly with the Milltek factory to insure that products are reflecting the expectations of the market with regard to FIT/PERFORMANCE/LOOKS/DESIRABILITY.
Stratmosphere receives Forge/Milltek products that have been correctly packaged and protected for export sale .......BEWARE OF IMITATIONS!"

I suppose that dealers from other countries could attempt to export Milltek systems into the USA. If that were discovered, I imagine their dealership would be in grave jeopardy. -Pete
