i e-mailed the current high bidder of the suspicious TT and he replied. sounds like he bid on his own car.

me: noticed this TT auction is a repeat from one in early july, same VIN. seller was 'audiworld' then, with bad feedback. must have changed his/her name to shake off the bad remarks. there are actually TWO auctions going on right now for the same car .. curious to find out if this is a total scam or if the car really does exist (though i'm sure its performance doesn't match what seller advertised !).

high bidder: Where are you located? The Audi TT we are selling is my wife's personal car and we are not a car dealer. We do however sell high performance parts on the internet.

"what do you mean the car you are selling ? you are listed as a bidder, not the seller."
