Will someone please explain to me...
... how a traditional coil-over could be fitted to the rear suspension of the TT given the TT's rear suspension geometry?

OK. Here it the plan, subject to change.
1) Tech at dealer (fine relationship) is billed out at $70hr shop rate + 7% supplies = $75 Hr. Estimating 3.5-4 hrs by the time I'm done asking for changes.
2) Initial setup. I'm going with Mance's numbers who has already blazed this trail for us. Mainly: zero toe, 1 3/4" drop, 1 degree negative camber in front and get as close to 1.4 degree as possible in rear. Castor not an issue as it is what it is for the most part. Now, that is for summer road thrill fun. I have gone with this setup because I will crank-up the ride height for ralley/winter fun. See, I want my cake and.....
3) Tire Rack. $1,565 + shipping. Package was dropped shipped directly from H&R. This deal is NOT on Tirerack's web site...I (with knowledge provided by Mance) instructed salesman: you have it, this is how much you charge, call Roland @ H&R and get back to me. In 3-5 days you will have the parts @ your door.
4) How low? SLAMMED to the ground (in an ExTTreme manner of speaking) and go up from there.
Ps...boy do I wish I still had my old scales and alignment tools from me ole' racing days. I guess I will have to settle for string, jackstands, tape measure and a camber gauge for the fine (sic) tuning.
